CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped create a more authentic rendition of weapons handling, house cleaning, location, squad-based action, etc. Featured in Premios Soberano (2024). If you like the genre, you’ll love this one because it’s as much about adrenaline and intrigue as it is about the real-life issues that everyday people go through. It was refreshing to see things that you can relate to in the midst of it all. Last but not least, I also enjoyed the unexpected plot twists and how you can’t predict how some situations will turn out; on the contrary, I would find myself hoping for a stereotype when it would really defeat the purpose. I really hope they do a season 2. All the characters are top-notch and I would love to see how they develop the story.
