It's one year later
Ted Timmis is a psychiatrist working with disturbed inmates. His wife Dani Timmins is alone in their newly purchased home. Ted's patient Olin Boole knocks on the door. He tells Dani that someone had sneaked into the house while she wasn't looking.
They need to keep that reveal for later
Dani's blind twin sister Darcy Odello, who claims to be a clairvoyant, has come to visit the house on the anniversary of Dani's murder. Ted has new girlfriend Yana.I really love the opening. It's like a ghost story told at a campfire. The movie needs to extend that section up to the appearance of the evil entity.
She needs to dial it back a couple of notches
I just didn't want the time jump to come so soon. I want to play with the tension of that opening a lot more. Once it jumps ahead, the story is fine, but I do question Yana not just Uber herself out of there. It may work better if Yana isn't so driven to leave the house.
This is a nice little horror mystery with some inventive turns
The last act has some great ideas that caught me by surprise. They would be even more surprising if a particular part isn't revealed earlier.
